Is my daughter allerigc to are new cat?

ok we had a short hair stray follow us in the house a few weekes ago and she had nothing well we just got a new kitten tuesday and this weekend she is sick started with a sore throat now has it and stuffy nose but also has a fever can you get a fever with allergies?

sounds like a flu or maybe early sign of strep throat. Allergies are runny itchy eyes, stuffy / runny nose and a sore throat from the post nasal drip.

These are no signs of allergies, these are signs of strep throat or just a cold. I suggest taking her to the doctor. If she is sneezing and is stuffy still after getting antibiotics then she does have allergy's and you should take her to a allergist. Hope she feels better soon! Good Luck!

I don't think these are signs of allergies. She is probably just sick. If you are worried take her to an allergy doctor.

Those are not the symptoms of an allergy. Sounds like a cold or the flu.

I also suffer my allergies and have most of my life. I also love cats and I have 3 cats at the moment. With allergies you normally sneeze a lot, have a runny nose and itchy eyes without having a fever. It sounds like your daughter might be catching a cold which starts with a sore throat, coughing, sneezing and fever. You might want to bring her to your doctor or a clinic.
