  1. She's around the 100th percentile. My son was 9lbs 7oz at birth, and was 13.5 pounds at 6 weeks.

  2. Our duaghter was 14 pounds at 6 weeks and 24 inches, I wouldn't worry too much. Ours too was 9 2 at birth and 22 inches she is now 7 months old 21 pounds and 27 inches. Totally healthy.

  3. Nope, she sounds very healthy! Congrats! You're doing a good job, Mommy! =]

  4. thats is almost the exact as my son but he was 9'3 and 21 inches babies are suppose to put on weight within the first month, now my son is 9 months and he is very tall and he still weighs a good amount like 22 or 23 pounds but he is very lean since he so tall, i think the bigger the better they look healthier, and the doctor will let you know if she is getting to big

  5. it sounds normal to me

  6. she's normal

  7. No, your daughter's normal !

  8. She sounds perfectly normal to me!

  9. I think she sounds perfect. My pediatrician told me that they look for babies to gain 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce a day for the first several weeks of their lives, so it seems to me like she is growing at a great rate! People comment all the time on how big Emily is (she's very long) and it can be frustrating, but I try to ignore it. I think big babies are more cuddly and fun anyway!

  10. she started larger than average, so she will likely be in a higher percentile length and weight-wise than most her age. sounds like she is growing well though, congrats!

  11. No, my daughter was the same. She was born 8lbs 14.2 ounces and is 20.5 inches. At six weeks she was about the same size as your daughter. It's because they were born big, so expect them to be bigger faster than the average size babies.

  12. When you take your daughter for her check-up, the doctor will weigh and measure her. They have a development chart that will tell you.  From the stats you give, I think she's probably at the 90 percential for her weight and height.  She's a big girl.  Good Luck.

  13. yea i think so! nothing wrong with it tho!
