I have a thirteen year old daughter, Kat. I've noticed lately that she is starting to seem pretty curvy. She wears a 36a bra (in women) and wears size 1 in pants, sometimes 2. Is that too much? i mean shes skinny also though. I'm not sure, because when i was younger i was not curvy. but on my husbands side the women are. HELP!

  1. Really, it is very normal, you have nothing to worry about.

Since your daughter is now a teenager, she might begin

developing as a women, in which she has reached the normal age.

Wearing junior-sized jeans is preferrable, since she has

a teen body, and kid's sizes don't balance out on her

body in the right places because of the forming curves on her body.

I suspect a thirteen year old is old enough to be wearing

a bra, since this is the age when a girl is beginning to

need one; whether it be size, self-consciousness, or

just because all her friends are ready, and being the odd

    ball is always uncomfortable.

My neice started wearing junior's clothing when she

turned twelve, same with the bra. It all depends on

    the girl herself.

She seems like a perfectly normal girl. Size 1/2 in jeans

is a great start since she might not be curvy or large enough

for anything else yet, until her real teen years such as 15 or 16. You shouldn't worry, though I definately know where

you're coming from. Your young daughter is just

in the phase between childhood and becoming a woman.

If you have any major concerns, I would recommend going

to her doctor, just in case.

  2. A 2 for her age is pretty normal. She does have a huge band size, though (I'm a 32, if I clasp it as tight as it goes).

  3. no i think shes completely fine. im all those sizes also and im a 13 year old girl.

  4. That's very normal..That isn't a very big bra size in the first place... and a size 1 is very small.. You definitely shouldn't be worried about anything.

  5. She's fine. People develop at different rates. If you make a big deal out of it, then she will too. Just reassure her that she's normal. You might have to help her modify her wardrobe a little--today's fashions tend to be rather low cut and draw more attention to the twins.

  6. Size 1? LOL I hope you are kidding. That is very skinny. Not curvy at all. When I was thirteen I was wearing a D cup and I was not overweight. She is fine. Rather thin, but fine.

  7. shes just growing up and 13 is when everything starts to change

  8. She's skinny. She doesn't sound curvy at all.

When I was 13, I was 32B and size 1 in juniors, and I was skinny as h**l.

  9. Hello there.

NOTE: This is my personal opinion. I am not a medical proffesional.

I know that you are worried about your daughter like a good mother should be, but every girl is different. Just like no two people can look the exact same, every girl develops at different stages. As for your daughter, she seems pretty normal. If you are still worried (which I do not believe you should be, really, because there is nothing to be worried about *smile*) you can go check with your daughter to your healthcare provider (doctor) for a regular checkup. Doctors always welcome any health questions that may be on your mind.

I hope this helps. I wish you and your daughter all the best!

well the girl in the first picture is an A cup.. maybe your daugter needs a new bra.. which would be a B cup..

  11. shes fine. my younger sister is the same shes skinny but she wears a B shes bigger than me.

  12. no. she's fine. just growning

  13. She is completely fine. She's just developing into a young lady! Don't worry about it.

  14. dude thats super nomal not all girls look the same or develope the same shes just gettin into her stage of becoming a woman

  15. no she sounds normal to me.

  16. Normally an A isn't considered "curvy". Your daughter sounds thin but she is still growing. By the time she's 15 she might be considered curvy but right now I would say no. Why are you worried about your daughter being curvy anyway?

  17. she's lucky, lol. and thirteen with an a cup? that's small. well, i was a b by then, and i'm skinny too. so don't worry about it. she's turning into a women. i wore a 00 when i was her age. she's got nothing to worry about, the guy was probably checking her out, because she's starting to look older.
