Is my doctor poor?

I went to my doctor today and I noticed that her chair in her office was exactly the same as my office chair at home, I paid $80 bucks at officeworks for it. And the chair i was sitting on in the doctors office was held together with tape......do you think my doctor is poor, or are they saving up fo a big holiday or something.....?

My son graduated from medical school $160,000 in debt.  He pays $1600 a month in repayment of student loads, plus he has to pay overhead costs and employee salaries, so it is rough!  The bills get paid first before he receives compensation

Many docs dont make as much as people tend to think they do.  They are in school, interships and residency for almost 10 years and rack up a ginormous amount of loans while doing so.  Many doctors start out as low as $60k per year which is tough to live off of when you owe 4 times that in loans.  So she could very well be poor to some extent.
