  1. It would help if you would rotate the pictures so we can see her correctly. There is an option to rotate them on Photobucket or Flickr. Just click on the picture and at the top there is a little box that reads "rotate." Click on it and it will show you how.

  2. Unless you specifically bought her as a show-propect, she likely isn't show quality. Even coming from show lines, there are pet-quality puppies.

Why do you want to show her? Are you planning on breeding her?

You can always do other AKC activities with her, such as obedience, agility, rally, herding trials, etc.

    .

  3. Not only do her colorings have to be right she also has to have many things that you don't show on your pics like

--Correctly lined teeth (no overbites or underbites)

    --Good Posture

    and many other things

  4. there are other things besides color that make her unshowable which is why the breeder didnt keep her, they dont sell the show quality ones

  5. Just because her parents were show quality she may not be. Some puppy's are not born show quality they are born pet quality. It's hard to tell with pictures if she is show quality you need to talk with a professional about your dog being show quality.

  6. Her colors are fine, it's her legs that aren't right, if you ever see the back legs of a show german shepherd you'll see how angulated they are, and your dog is not like that. If you look in the picture below you'll see what I mean. This is not a trained posture it is just an bred in condition.

  7. The pictures are sideways, and blurry, so it's hard to tell.

  8. I would have to get my hands on her to tell...there are things that pictures can hide

  9. it's hard to tell because the pictures are blurry but you can look in any German Shepherd guide book and it will tell you what the perfect markings for the German Shepherd is. If you're dog doesn't match all the ideal markings, you can't show her.

My pure bred border collie baby couldn't be shown because despite her perfect markings, there is a column of black going across her white neck just on one side.

    They are really picky

  10. Not all pets that come from show quality dogs end up being show quality.  There are a lot of fine points other than coloring that go into it.

Most likely, if you purchased from a quality, respected breeder the dog is not standard quality.  They normally keep pups that show promise and sell pet quality pups.  She's gorgeous though.

Oh and I hate to through propaganda out there, but if you decide not to show her, please spay her!

  11. i guess if it knows some trix than its OK and has my vote!

  12. I don't know much about GSD, but here's the AKC breed standards. All the info you need/want should be in there.

  13. her legs are are fuc*ed upp.

    tooo short.

  14. best thing to do is go to www.akc.com look up GSD's and see what she meets and see what she doesn't also you could have a breeder that has shown before to check her out. Find a reputable breeder in your area.
