  1. he could be sick. or maybe he has some rotten food caught between his teeth. have you given him some raw bones (beef  bones are good) to chew on (this acts as a toothbrush)?

  2. Most likely, just a smelly breath. It depens on what dog you have, I have a yorkshire terrior and there known for having bad breath. Give your dog dental sticks, one a day and it reduces the chance of getting gum disease and acts like a toothbrush as it cleans their teeth too. You can try and brush their teeth but it will be quite a challenge. I recommend just getting the dental sticks. They're not expensive either, depending on what brand you get. I would say 99p - £4 no more than that. They look like this if you haven't heard of them.. http://www.petsmart.com/graphics/product...

Don't worry, there won't be anything wrong with your pet but if you're actually really worried, then ring the vet and see what they say.

    Good Luck! :)

  3. The bad breath may be caused by tartar buildup, inflammation of the gums, or an infection.  More serious causes include kidney or liver disease.
