Is my dog sick?? please help!!?

yesterday my dog was in the backyard just sitting down on the grass and then it looks like hes about to throw up or something but he is like making this kind of honking sound like he cnt breathe or sumthing but hes breakthing fine..he breathes a little louder and i dunno no how or why. when he starts to walk he sometimes makes the hinking sound but wen hes lying down or sitting he doesnt. and he eats his food and drinks water. plz help, i dunno wats going on and im scared.

he might have something stuck in his throat he could of ate something outside or something.and its stuck if it keeps happening you should take him to the vet

He needs to go to the vet to be checked out.  He might have an infection, something caught in his throat, ate grass and was trying to throw up, or kennel cough.  It is always best to go to a vet to get it checked out.  Have you checked his throat for anything?  Also check the roof of his mouth my dog got a little stick stuck there and was trying to get it out by coughing.  But take the dog to the vet don't wait.

Did you notice your dog had eaten any grass,(which is very normal for them to do) and they will act exactly the way you described,but if there was no grass eaten its definately worth a trip to the vet or ring them and explain they will let you know if you should take him in.

yea sounds like the dog has kennel cough or a hairball or has eaten grass and is tryin to throw up.  my dog as done all of these...it sounds normal BUT if its kennel cough, then they will need medication. call the Vet if you realize its not because they ate grass...

I'm wondering if he was some kind of respiratory problem.  Take him to the vet and see.  That's your best bet.

It sounds like he may have kennel cough. You need to take him to the vet to check for sure and they will put him on antibiotics to cure it. Good luck.
