Believe it or not, I've just noticed on my paper driving license(I've had it 10 years), that preceding my name, I have, Rev ,then my name. I think I must have marked the wrong box when choosing my title. I asked at the police station, and the woman at the desk laughed and said she wasn't sure if I should be using it as it is.

  1. Just send it back and ask for it to be amended with a note explaining.

  2. What is happening to this world.  Here we are answering questions to the best of our ability and this guy just does not know what REV means.  Has he ever thought of looking it up on a computer/dictionary.  Sorry youth of today won't know what a dictionary was!

Rev; = Reverend= Minister of the Church.  Too think this guy is legally allowed to Christen them, Marry them, and then bury them.

Your Paper licence is also too old.  Change it for a new photocard id.  Remember to wear your dog collar, ( look it up)

  3. Have the Rev in front of your name is like have Mr. or Miss or any other prefix. I don't think it means your license is illegal, its just a typo.

  4. personally, it might be an idea to keep it, you may get cheaper car insurance as a vicar!

  5. Ask DVLC, - I'm sure that it was a genuine mistake ( either by you - OR BY THEM!) and you've gained nothing from it.  You DID pass your test(?) and so there should be no problem sorting it out ( - barring human error /delay from such a large agency as DVLC).

    Go for it !

  6. Get a job in a church, quick..

  7. Just apply for a replacement to DVLA and make sure you only put Mister (Mr) in the appropriate box

Keep your old licence as they have been known to loose the odd document or two and also have not always put the correct entitlement on the replacement.  Apply as if you have lost yours

    Good luck
