  1. There is no such thing as a correct due date.  THey are all guesses.  Only 5% of women deliver on their due date without any interventions.  Just expect baby in January.  Did you ever get a first trimester ultrasound?  If so that is the most accurate way to date.  Ultrasounds past the second trimester are less accurate because babies grow differently.

  2. ok. . . to calculate your expected due date,  you take the first day of your LNMP, subtract three months and add 1 week. If your LNMP was 4/8 then your due date is about 1/15.  If you had an ultrasound done, those dates are a little more accurate. I have found with all my pregnancies (3) that when the doctor measure the "fundus height" and it equals 40, no matter how far along I was, I delivered that week. One baby was 5 weeks pre-mature. The others were just days from their due dates.

  3. your doctor should be giving you an ultrasound to confirm dates. if he tells you your LMP was april 28th, and you know it wasnt, then you tell him NO U R WRONG.

Is it possible when you told him your LMP was the 8th he misheard and wrote the 28th down...you can correct him you know, you know more about your lmp then he does.

  4. Have you had an ultrasound?  This should tell you your due date.  If so, go by this and forget all the other dates.  Whether your LMP was the 8th or 28th , that due date doesn't match.

the 8th would make you due 01/13/09, the 28th would make you due 02/02/09.  So, just go with what the ultrasound says.

  5. hes probably talking about when you made your baby, I know I was confused at first too, my LMp was Jan 6 but he kept saying it was the 25th, but really after looking at babycenter.ca they said I concieved on the 25th, the doctor just goes from there. And as for the due date always give or take 2 weeks from the date as they are normally late or early.
