Is my fish pregnant?

I just got a goldfish from a pet store like 30 min ago I figured her belly is normal but I just saw this picture: http://www.liveaquaria.com/images/categories/product/p-89719-goldfish-36823P_005.jpg My goldfish looks exactly like this except the belly is twice as big. Do you think she is pregnant?

she is either pregnant or has over eaten.

naw...to me that goldfish looks skinny. Here look at a pic of mine ....

goldfish are natrually plump also your goldfish would have to be three times the size of the one in the picture bacuse goldfish have to be 3 yrs old to lay eggs!

Goldfish don't get "pregnant". The females swell up with eggs (which may be what you are seeing in your fish) during season. The male then chases her continuously and nudges at her belly to release the eggs. Once she does he sprays his "milt" on the eggs to fertilize them. The eggs will then hatch within a week. So if you only have a female you won't have any baby goldfish sorry!
