Is my friend bipolar?

She has rapid mood changes! One day she threw an apple apple at me and then she hugged me and picked up the apple and ate it! Is something wrong? I just want my old friend back!

No, she doesn't sound like she has Bipolar Disorder. She may having just been kidding and thought it was funny to throw an apple at you.

She's just moody. And mean. I wouldn't hang out with someone who thew apples at me.

Rapid mood swings have nothing to do with bipolar disorder. So no she isn't bipolar.

Only a doctor could diagnose your friend with bipolar disorder.

with the information you've given, i'd have to say no, i don't think her behaviour at that time is completely related to bipolar.
