Is my friend over reacting?

I think hes kind of superstisous.. I was on a date with someone and I had saw a lady bug walking next to me and was like "Oh how pretty, those are supposedly good signs." I was horrified to have turned my head then turned back to a large spider walking away with it in his mouth.

My friend is upset and trying to tell me not to go out with this guy anymore.

I would say you should only break up with him if you are a ladybug.

On the second worst day of my life, a ladybug bit me, so I am not inclined to see them as good signs. And I like insects.

Nope- it's all in your head.  I am not superstitious at all.. My friend flew on Friday the 13th and I flew on Sept 11th after 2001 and when you don't think about it...you're totally fine.

i am so confused. lady bugs and dates have nothing to do with each other.. if your friend thinks that is some sort of sign.. she MAY need to get her brain checked, make sure she doesn't have a serious concussion, you know.
