Is my gerbil tame or not or what can i do to make it?

i have some baby gerbils about 28 days old just wiening off i have 4 i handle them every day for about 5 mins or so coz mum gets irretable me can handle them for about a min and they jump of my hand but they in box wen me hold them so they dont fall or anything.

also every time me put my hand in there tank they scits the ileave my hand inthere on the floor and they cruel other i and everything

questin is y they scits wen me put my hand in there and anyway to stop it (me put it in slowly)

please answer this aswell anyway to stop tem digging in corner of tank me know it habbit but annoying

Gerbil pups are like that the best way to tame them is to put your hand in with food on it and hold still if they walk on your hand don't pick them up just then wait for a few days and then rise than a few cm off the ground and than do that and so on till the stay on your hand!

A little touching and holding of the babies every day will help them. What I think they are doing to you is a natural reaction. They might be scared...or marking you?  Don't worry.  Keep on touching them with a very soft hand.

Keep handling them as much as possible.  They are still young, so it may take a while for them to become familiar with your scent.  Soon enough, they will be 'tame.'
