  5. Any goldfish can be used as a feeder fish. If you bought it as a pet then it is not a feeder fish it is a pet fish.  

  6. Feeder goldfish are just cheap common or comet goldfish that are sold as food for bigger fish. If you buy one and look after it, you have a normal common or comet goldfish.

    It's a cheap way to get some good goldfish for a pond or big tank. Buy a bag of feeders, put them in a big tank and wait a year. You will have some nice big pond size goldfish.
