Is my goldfish sick?!?

I just got 3 goldfish, and a speckled one keeps eating the fish food, then spitting it out, but then later he eats the food, is this normal?!?

Maybe hes jealous and doesnt want the other fish to get the fish food.

this is normal the fishes spit the food out to chew on it. and fishes food determine on the species or kind it is like tropical saltwater and goldfishes. also if he spits out the food hes probably full. dont overfeed them!!! good luck

Dry fish food isn't easy to stomach-- many fish will try to chew it up and soften it in the water before eating it.  To prevent this a bit, try soakin gthe flakes in tank water before feeding them.
