Is my guitar a "good" brand?

okay i bought my guitar at a pawn shop for about $130. it is a Yamaha. all i want to know is... is it a good brand???????

but it really depends on the model, and the condition its in

well... yamaha is a very well known brand (possibly the best) - but usually for pianos or keyboards. So although they wouldnt be my first suggestion if you want a guitar, still... i think that its better than buying it from a different less known company

Yamaha doesn't really excel in one area, but all around eveyrthing htey have is pretty good.

Its a decent brand. Not a top of the line pro-level guitar, but a good instrument to learn on -- assuming its in good condition.
