  1. I'm sure all 3 seconds of her memory of the event made her devastated.

Edit: Haha my pleasure! ;) I just got a fish yesterday, and I understand you're concerned for your girl. I think her hovering around the bottom of the tank are just normal characteristics of a fish...but are there any treats or nice things you could do for her (clean the tank, giver her new castles, etc.)?

  2. Do to physiological stress and hormone levels related to the miscarriage, it's possible.  Is she acting any differently?  If she is, you also have to rule out the possibility that she might be having other medical complications from it.  Have you been noticing anything different?

  3. you may want to change the color of the rocks to be bright.

this will really make your fish happy.

  4. Considering most guppies will actually eat their childeren after they're born (don't get you hopes up yours isn't "special") it probably doesn't care. Infact the little fish would have suffered more if moma had been chasing them down and eating them.

Good luck with the next batch they give birth every 20 days or so.
