Is my hamster ok?

Question

well yesterday i was playing with my hammy and he seem to be trying to get away.. so when i was about to put him in the cage he jumped out and almost fell down the table but i got him in time..when i held him up i think his nose or face rubed the wall abit (table is in a corner)..and his mouth was wide open for..like a second.....so will he be ok?

I am a paramedic on people. Animals are close to us. When someone/hamster hits their head they are stunned for some time. These deficits go away and 99% of the time with no lasting effect. So if your hammy is acting normally now he will be just fine.

Yes, he should be ok.  Hamsters jump and bump into things.  He should be ok.

I did that to a dwarf and a syrian hamster, He'll be ok

He will be fine, but you need to watch him more carefully when he is out of his cage.

watch him for a day or two if he starts to act weird take him to the vet! : ]
