Is my hamster sick? :(

Please, please, please help. I think my hamster is sick. She is a syrian hamster. Her symptoms are:

A dirty, wet looking tail. Wet eyes that look very infected and appear hard to open when she wakes up. She has been sleeping constantly, getting up only to eat and drink. She looks tense.

Please, help! I love her lots!

She might have like some type of flu. But if she is eating and drinking then thats good. Probably just getting old.

your hammy sounds sick if I were you I would take her straight to the vet.

Sounds like she may have wet tail.

It's good that she's still eating and drinking, but you should bring her to the vet and let them diagnose her for sure and prescribe some meds for her. Has she had diarrhea, as well? Make sure she's drinking enough, and try putting some pedialyte in her water and feed her oats with her food.

i heard that if a hamster has  a wet tail, something is wrong with it or it is about to die if something doesnt cure it

i'd take it to the vet.
