  1. she feels threatened! so what i did to gain trust was i dipped my finger in some strawberry flavored yogurt and offered it to her. shell come at you the same way but instead of biting shell l**k! itll gain her trust! good luck! : )

  2. lose the hamster get a snack

  3. Unfortunately a lot of hamsters are biters. Hopefully it won't ever bite you hard... hopefully just nips. Make sure you wash your hands before handling to ensure she isn't smelling something tasty on your fingers. But, in my experience, she may just be warning you to leave her alone. A lot of pet store hamsters aren't held, so they don't know how to interact with people.

  4. if she is trying to bite your she probably feels threatened so check out this website...

  6. she's probably just scared, think, things that are 200 of you size, would you be scared?give it treats, give it food from you hand.if she trusts you,and don't bite you,you can let it do tricks, just like a dog!!!first, put a treat above t's head, let it get it and say stand,do it lots of times, the next time you say stand, without the treat,it will stand, you and do the same thing with turn,no,sit, roll over, and more

    can you help me?

  7. My friend had a hamster that I used to babysit sometimes but the first moth or two (maybe more?) she had her that hamster would bite all the  time! My friend almost gave up on her but I suggested she use gloves and handle whenever she could and soon after she became the friendliest hammy that I've ever met. She could even bath her without that hamster biting! Oh yeah and her name was Poppy.

  8. It is probably she just feels threatened, over time she  should be more friendly with u but if you keep putting her back in the cage everytime it wont help. it just needs to get used to u and if your afraid its going to bite you hamsters can sense the fear and it can make them worse

    hope i helped

  9. umm i think next time she does that dont pull away and see what happens, then u have ur answer! :P it could be a l**k or nudge, or a nip or bite.

  10. she feels scared!!

Just keep on holding her for for a average time a day and feed her carrots [or etc.] from your hand so she can trust you.

yes, she will bite sometimes like its not working but she will get used to you.

If you get her out when shes sleeping and shes really tired she will bite.

if shes a little tired it will be okay..
