As petrol , flour and etc increase, made a number of Kindergarden/Nursery close or merge. My son next year will be standard one and his current nursery will shifted to further place which inconvenience for me to send him there as my working hours is 8am to 6pm. Should i change his kindergarden or stay on with this as i'm worry with the change environment will affect him and how I sure that he is ready to go Primary School by next year ?

  1. i don't understand what you are trying to ask

  2. So what you are saying is your son's nursery will no longer be available and you wonder if he should go to Primary School or move to the new location which is inconvenient for you?

Guess that's up to you.  How old is this child?  Kindergarten in the States is in the public schools...child must be 5 years by the cut off date.  So if your child can enter...let him enter.  If your are concerned about his readiness...ask his preschool teacher their opinion.  As for changing the environment that he is in so that he can have another year of preschool...it should have very little effect on well-adjusted children.  They'll be changing from year to year into different classrooms once they enter primary school anyway.  Most 4-5 year olds are pretty flexible and understanding.  Sure the transition might be a little difficult at first but it will work out.  It's good for a child (and adults :-)) to be removed from their comfort zone every once in awhile. It proves to the child that they can handle the experience and it's not so bad.  Life is always full of changes.  The sooner a child learns that the better off they will be!  Good luck in your decision making.
