  1. I agree VRAZEL is not a Polish name, but you must consider a lot of people change their name abroad to make it sound easier. In Poland the sound of "W" is as the English "V" so maybe the original surname was Wrazel.

Going that way, we use the "z" with a point on top "ż" (this letter obviously does not exist in the English alphabet), changing your name to Wrażel.

My grandmother's maid name was Warzel (she was 100% Polish), which sounds really similar.

  2. sorry man i was born in poland and thats not polish

  3. no sorry it isn't i use a translater its not polish

  4. Poland is a beutiful country!! and abou your last name... sorry my dear but is not Polish,, sounds more like Czech Republic

    or of origin hungarian.

    but is not polish

  5. No, it is not. Letter "V" is almost non-existent in Polish, except for borrowings, such as "supernova", for instance. The name sounds Czech or Slovak to me.

  6. The early (19th century) Polish immigrants to USA had their names heavily distorted. Those people were often poor, uneducated or plain illiterate. They could just give their names orally to an immigration officer who'd put them down as he thought right or as he pleased.

The name Vrazel doesn't sound Polish at all, but nothing is impossible. You should track down the family history and genealogy.

  7. I am 100% polish and have viseted family many times there. Its truly a beautiful country and I strongly suggest going there someday. The people are hard working, kind, intelligent, and good looking lol! But to answer your question.......no im sorry but vrazel sounds like a different slavic nationality, but not polish. I could be wrong though, i just never heard something like that. Im thinking maybe russian? Oh well good luck and dont worry whatever u are it cant be far from polish lol. And whatever u are u should be proud when u find out!

  8. I am too 100% polish and no it's not a polish last name. sorry.
