Is my magic the gathering deck any good?

Well I'm sort of new to the game, but I play my friends brother who Isn't new to it at all, and he wants me to start so I got a bit of money together looked for some advice and put together my very own deck.

Please be brutally honest when you judge this good or bad It will help me improve! I don't know exactly what to call this deck, it contains big monsters as well as buff up's such as echoing courage it is 1 colour type and that's green! It has token play as well as 1 turn nuke attacks.

I don't see it being an awesome deck but it has potential.  Check into other people's decks designs and see what makes the kill in that deck.

First of all NO ROD OF RUIN it's one of the worst cards in the game. Secondly the Tangle walker is useless unless you're playing against artifact deck so if your not always playing against a artifact deck it should come out. Other than that it's an ok deck for casual play but you might want to, as you become a more serious magic play, add more strategy to it
