Hi,

I just ordered a LITEMASTER 2000:

I also ordered an anemone (Bubble-Tip), I need to know if this lighting could sustain the anemone?

Lighting Specs:

Product Size (mm): 595x72x93

Aquarium Length: 2 ft (610mm)

Power: 240v

Tubes: 2x T5HO 24W 55cm (one UV one white)

Installation: Clip-on, s***w-on sides or cable suspension.

I understand that Metal Halide aren't always required...

  1. it should

and no u dont need the metal halide in this case it's just an idition for u lol

  2. metal halides or T5 lighting, though Anemones eat food, they also take nutrients from sunlight....that is mimicked from halides or t5's....how many gallons is your tank?

this may help you better understand the way lighting works in a tank.

  3. No it is not! anemones require strong  light to live. They will live a little while with your lights i would say anywhere to 3 to 6 months. You really should do alot of research on the care of anemones before u buy. Are they will slowly die without the proper environment and care.
