Is my mom crazy (note:sarcasim) = ) ????

Question

My mom thinks if we are ment to get another dog then we will just come across it. What? So baisiclly that means we will randomly stumble across the "perfect" dog at a PetSmart adoption event? Haha, we did that before...but we just Fostered him.

What do you think about this?

Wow!  That Is Exactly What My Mom Said When I Asked For A Kitten.  

"If We Are Meant To Have One Than We'll Stumble Across One Somewhere."  I Was Soooo Mad B/c I Knew That That Would Never Happen.  After That, I Didn't Mention Getting A Kitten Again.  

Believe It Or Not, We Found A Stray Black Kitten At A Car Wash We Were At!  The Kitty Was No More Than 5 Wks. Old And Had Been Abandoned.  She Was Sick, Dehydrated, Hot, & Hungry.  We Took Her To The Vet And The Rest Is History.

Our Family Has Had BlackJack For 4 Years Now & My Mom Just Loves Her Sweet Personality.

My Point To My Story Is That If You Really Are Meant To Have A Dog Than You WILL Come Across One.  For You, A Stray Puppy Could Randomly Come To Your House And Need Help.  My Mom Didn't Actually Want A Cat, But The Way We Found BlackJack, We Couldn't Turn Away.  

The Dog Or Puppy Will Come When You Least Expect It! :)

Here's my story. I am not a dog person, or so I thought. One day at my daughters house a German Shepherd Mix walked up to me and I just started petting her. She was obviously homeless. Since I was staying with my daughter at the time she told me that she did not want a dog. Well 3 days later she was at the vets, getting all her vaccinations, a terrible case of worms taken care of, groomed and soon spayed. That was over 10 years ago. At her now estimated age of 12 1/2. She is on the floor taking a snooze right next to me. So maybe your mom has something there. So if your mom geos to the pound with you, she may just see the perfection in that dog. Get your mom to the pound quickly and tell her I said to go.

But what she says is true. My puppy came to me from a random Mexican guy off the streets 1 hour away from where I live.

Now, it's 6 months old. Lab/pitbull mix and the CUTEST puppy you ever laid eyes on.

She's a true angel. =)

Actually it's very possible that you stumble upon a dog. I have done it many times! Usually they are homeless and wandering around without tags. Those, in my opinion, are the best dogs to have because you are saving their lives! =)

This is exactly what happened to me.  I looked for a dog for over a year and when the time was right I found him online (I know I know I took a chance).  He was from a puppy rescue and was exactly what I was looking for.  I always say, he found me.  

He's the best dog I've ever had.

I think your mom is a wise wise woman and she is 100% correct (no sarcasm).
