  1. You are not gonna want to hear this.. i was on depo for 7 years and it made me moody and bit out of tune. but the most important thing is... and i'll have to tell you the story to give you a idea....

Jan 07 due for needle and decided to start trying.

never had a period on depo injection

jun 07 cycle comes back with no problems regular every month.

    Oct 07 missed period PREGGERS

Dec 17/07 offered ultrasound for downs syndrome, no risk factors but i get the scan anyway. with blood test, i was given a 1 in 4 chance of downs.

Dec 23/07 have cvs (amnio) for downs etc

Dec 27/07 called and told baby has downs and 3 OTHER chromozone defects.

Dec 28/07 We decided not to have our daughter. i was 14 weeks.

i'm not saying it ill happen to you but... the dr's said a lot of other factors could have caused it but when i first got on the depo there wasn't much known about the drug and the possible side effects. and i think sometimes could it have been the depo injections? i was on it for 7 years. we now are waiting to try again cause my partner needs a knee reconstruction and me a operation on my wrist but we will try again and this time it's been almost 2 years off the depo injection so we'll just have to wait and see

    """"""""baby dust""""""" for you

  2. I don't think so. Depo is really bad for your system and it usually causes mood swings... But maybe the hormonal change didn't suit you. You should maybe ask a doctor. Plus, before having a child, it might take some time.
