Gosh, I am so tired of her always taking my money! I'm 21 and have my 14 months old son, and is pregnant again # 2 I have been stay home mom since a year and half. I used supplemental security income every month, She always take them when I have it, and used my husband's supplemental security income too, she work over night everyday why the heck she need our supplemental security income for, It's pissed me off. I have been talked my mother about it, she said she need those money for bills, ( she is single mother, we all live together but different floors ) I have been talked with her how I felt, I told her that I wanted to have some money myself, and I never have money myself cause I am stay home mom, & I don't want borrow my husband's money all the time! There another that I get payment she also wanted keep them too. I am very angry, felt like she smell money, how do I explain her I wanted money for myself because when I said it she get mad & she always tell me go ask your husband's money! Is she wrong? she said she need money for the bills! But she had alot of money herself! What do I do? I have decide I wanted to start work so I'll have cash myself but my mother told me No because she is afraid I will lose my supplemental security income!

  1. If you don't want her to take your check from the mail, then get it direct deposited into a bank account of your own.  With wells fargo, you get a free account with direct deposit.  Then, you can give her as much money as you want to and the rest will be yours.  You can pay rent if she likes, but your money is yours.

  2. You are the one who is correct.  If you don't just want to rely on your husband for money, it is your right not to, and it is your right to work.  You and your husband need to stand up to her and not let her get at your money anymore.  If she is working, then she should have enough money on her own, or find some way to get her own money, not just leech off of you and your husband.  I honestly wish you the best of luck at this, and that you are able to get to have your own money.
