  1. They sound like they are both females. I have 5 parakeets and two have hte purple pinkish cere and two have the blue and one has the white no color.

All the research I did said that I have three girls and two boys.

Sounds like both yours are girls

  2. Both of them sound like females. Females will usually have white, tan, or pinkish/light purplish ceres, whil males will usually have dark blue ceres. But even this isn't 100% accurate! Your bird with the white cere may be a male! The only way to be certain on most bird species is to have a dna test done

  3. ricky is a girl and lucy is a boy you go by thier beaks

  4. I think they are both females.

The colour of the cere (the area containing the nostrils) differs between the sexes; royal blue in males, pale-brown to white (non-breeding) or brown (breeding) in females and pink in immatures of both sexes (usually of a more even purplish-pink color in young males). Some female budgies develop brown cere only during breeding time and later disappears. Young females can often be identified by a subtle chalky whiteness that starts around the cere nostril holes.

  5. Go get a DNA test, that will tell you if they're boy or girl.
