See your Avain Vet and get a DNA for both questions. Most parrots you can not tell one s*x from another without DNA..

u have to little info.do u know what type of bird it is.like more specific.

you can tell a parakeets gender by the color of their nose. that stuff above their beak, if it is yellow or brown, then thay are a female. if it is blue or purple then it is a male. with albino parakeets it's harder to tell, but other than that it's simple, really. ;)
