Is my passport photo expired?

This is my first time trying to get my passport. I took my passport photo on august 2007 but haven't applied yet ...i was wondering if my photo has expired or can i still use it?

no, its fine.  i just applied for my passport with a photo that was a year old. its fine.

no, if your photo was done in august? it is still valid, make sure you went to the correct photograph,

* 2x2 inches in size

* Identical

* Taken within the past 6 months, showing current appearance

* Must be color photos

* Full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background

* Between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head

* Taken in normal street attire

* Uniforms should not be worn in photographs. If wearing headcovering daily for religious or medical reasons include a statement explaining that.

* Do not wear a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline.

* If you normally wear prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your picture.

* Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required.

*Light colored clothing which blends in with the photograph background can cause problems with the Department of State

*We recommend that you have both shoulders covered by clothing in your passport photo.

Your photo taken on August 2007 is still valid for a passport application because there is still no drastic change in your face.
