Is my piercing rejecting?

i had my navel done in late june. the original ring fell out because i loosened it a bit so i went to claire's and bought a new one thats supposed to be made of surgical steel.

the holes are red and i can feel the needle beneath it, is that normal?

it doesn't appear to be thinning out too dramatically but it DOES feel bit shallower than i had it before. it doesn't hurt.

i've been soaking it in sea water everyday. is it rejecting?

i high doubt it's rejecting. it could be red because you just recently got it done and because you changed the ring.

Some people are allergic to metal. I am one of those people. I can only wear 14kt gold in my ears. If I wear anything else my ears get red and then get infected.

dont soak it-just wash it n leave it. my friends took a  year to heal-mine was 5 months.
