I made a number to text translator. My number to text translator knows how to translate

199999...(3004 9's)...999997899999...(3005 9's)...99999

different numbers into text. It also has many other features like music, printing, saving...ect. Is there a program out on the internet that is better than mine? What other features can I add to it? Thanks!

  1. i dont find that as an easy way to make music or text... for my type of  -coding- i would rather code or program the text and music... it doesnt take as much time or effort

  2. There are hundreds of programs out there to do these things, many of them free open source.

  3. Such programs do in fact already exist. After that it depends how easy to use your program is. A question you should ask yourself is, "Does my program fulfill a need of its users?". People wont use a program that does something they dont need.  I for one dont need a program to tell me the name of numbers.

but dont be discouraged. I myself made such a program. Its good experience, and you will be learning. It also could be used as something to show a potential employee. Its good that your actually getting out and doing it.

As for further features. There are two systems for naming numbers. Being the American Numbering system and the British numbering system. Perhaps you should support both standards. See

    http://www.mazes.com/numberingsystems.ht... for details.

  4. It's impossible to say without many more details. What do you mean by "number to text translator"? You enter 542 and it outputs "five hundred forty-two"? And what do you mean by "music" as a feature? Does it compose music, print musical scores, play music, search for music on the Internet, or what?
