  1. Go back to the vets.whatever..tis up to u

  2. it is normal for rabbits to have redish pee. try taking the antibodics out of his water...he may not like the taste of it...you should give him lots of hay either timothy hay or an orchard grass hay.

  3. It sounds to me, like his Kidneys are failing!

First, don't panic, that's always the worst thing to do.

Secondly, take away all of his pellets and just feed straight hay.

Next, make sure he always has fresh clean cold water.

It probably hurts him when you pick him up, so that may be why he runs away.

Try flavoring his water with something, add a few table spoons of either apple cider, or cranberry juice to his water.

If I were you, I would take him to another vet, this could turn out to be a serious matter, and possibly result in fatility.

  4. how old is he?

  5. take him/her to the vet . asap !

  6. Red urine is normal in rabbits and is not a cause for alarm. If that is the only basis the vet used in his/her diagnosis, he/she may have been wrong.

If he/she did do a test to determine the rabbit has a bladder infection, then I would call your veterinarian and let him know it has been a week without a change.

  7. You should be syringing him food too otherwise he will get gut stasis. Take him back to the vet for a checkup.

It is normal for rabbits to have a reddish coloured urine.  If the vet was afraid of an infection i would have asked for an xray as they can suffer from urinary stones.

EDIT: you have also posted a question saying your cat is dying above. i suggest you take them BOTH to a vet

  8. Try giving him water without the powder in it.  If he doesn't drink, he won't eat either.  Water is most important.
