Is my rat going to be ok? She found a stick of gum behind the couch...?

Question

and ate about 1/4 of it. It was in the foil wrapper, and she ate some of that, too. It was Extra bubblegum flavor, if that matters. Is she going to be ok?

Rats can eat almost anything. It may even be likely that she spit it out and tossed it somewhere else. As for the foil, she should be fine on that, too, as long as she didn't eat the whole thing. If she's showing signs of sickness like constipation, diarrhea, lack of energy, or seems to be uncomfortable/in pain then call the vet for advice. As for now, just check on her everyday to make sure she's doing okay.

She should be okay. my rat has eaten  some worse things and has been okay. if she looks like she's not doing good then see if you local vet will see her.

Putting gum out for rodents is one way of ridding your garden of them. The gum gums up their digestive tract and they expire. Usually they're consuming full sticks. Hopefully your rat will be okay. Just watch out for signs that it's suffering and get it to the vet if necessary.
