Is my sense of smell strong?

I think my sense of smell is pretty strong, but I wanted to see what other peoples are like.

To me each person has their own scent,(which is not always so fun because some people smell rank). if one of my friends or a family member was standing in front of me and i was blind folded I could probably tell it was them.

They say when you lose one sense, your other become heightened, and I have pretty bad hearing, and I have to wear contacts/glasses.

So is my sense of smell normal?

Sounds like you have a strong sense of smell... or your pregnant. I was like that when I was pregnant.

My mom has a strong sense of smell just like you.  She complains to me because I have this one friend who smells like cows.  And I can't even wear perfume around her because she gets headaches.  It's really annoying.  so I would say you do have a strong sense of smell.  It's not a bad thing, so don't worry about it.

ur sense of smell may be better due to lack of seeing as well. Ive heard many times that a lack in one sense is made up in another. My mom is like that too. I promise you, she can smell things that no one else can.

It's pretty normal but not everybody has this curse(I can smell anything even the human pheromones can but most people don't realize it even if they do because it's natural, why do ou think you like a girl more than another ;) ). Too bad that I'm nearsighted. Maybe this compensates :(.

I would say you do. unless of course like the other girl mentioned- could be pregnancy. My sense of smell has always been my strongest sense. I smell things way before other people, often people dont know what the h**l I am talking about. so you can only imagine how bad it was when I was pregnant. Im not surprized however you can smell your realitives and pick them out. our sense of smell is tied up with the lymbic system (emotions and memory) so smell works the best at conjuring up a person, place, emotion, or time in your life.

You have hypersense regarding your nose.  I do too...I can smell skin as well...  It's a blessing and a curse.  Bloodhounds are cool!
