Is my sleeping normal?

Every time I go to sleep, I usually have to have my radio on. I've been doing it for as long as i can remember. It has become a habit for me. If you were to turn it off while I was sleeping, I would wake up instantly. Please, serious answers only

  1. I have found that turning it down a little one week at a time works. The first week, turn it down by 1/3. Then the next week, by another little bit.

    Eventually, you will be able to sleep with it so low you can't hear it.


  2. It's a fact that if the radio is on at a low level, it promotes better sleeping. But as far as not being able to sleep without it, I've got to say that it is unusual.
