Is my snail alive even though I just got him today?

My snail has been in its shell for thirty minutes. I found him today in my garden, and he is very small. Is he alive?

put him in a small glass of water, he'll eventually crawl out of his shell if he's alive, and climb up

can u post a pic of your snail somewhere in the net. i am just wondering what kind of snails do people keep for pet?

Yes, it's just scared in his shale, because he's at some place where he never been before.

it is probably is alive its just really scared because you removed it from its natural habitat you should just wait and see if it moves or mabey throw some food in its cage/tank or were ever you have it.
