  1. Take a picture of your feet in the binding and re-post this question. This is the easist way to get a good answer.

  2. not necessarily, i have a 10.5-11 boot size (depending on the boot) and i have a custom 158 w/a 25 cm waist and a nitro 157 w/a 25.2 waist.

it's actually perfect for me,  i like the overhang of my feet, b/c it makes my edge to edge response faster and my toes/heels aren't hitting the ground when i carve hard.  so for me it's perfect, if you go wider it will slow down your edge to edge response, but will be more stable for you.  it's really all about preference and feel.  if you were bigger than an 11 i'd say go wider.

also you can get bindings that have "gas pedals" on them.  instead of raising your binding from the board, it just extends further out under your toes and heels, and gives you more speed when you pump in and out of carves.....

i have the forum v2.2 platform bindngs and aboslutely love them.....

  3. one way you can tell is, if you carve toe-side do your toes drag on the ground?

if they do you have a few solutions:

    1. simply get a wider board.   many people have this problem and snowboard companies now produce wider boards for people with bigger feet.

    2. you could rotate your baseplates more so your stance is a little more ducked out.

    3. some snowboard companies make special baseplates that raise your whole binding higher off the deck.  raising your feet has the same affect as getting a wider board.
