  1. Kindergarten!!  Don't rush him just because you think he's ready.  We always thinks our kids are thw smartest and fastest.  They accept that age in your school district, probably on a case by case basis.

  2. I was 4 when I started school, but we had kindergarten, and I turned 5 in December.

  3. i would he needs some kids to play with

  4. at the age5 5 they start kindergarten.(like my daughter). So,no he's at the right age to go to school.*

  5. If you are in the United States, a child is not allowed to enter 1st grade until they are 6 years old by the cutoff date.

  6. age 4= pre K

    age 5= Kindergarden

    age 6= first grade

    age 7= second grade

this is how it is in my school district

i currently have sons in PreK Kinder and 1st!

the age requriement must be met by Sept 25 of that academic year.

they also have to have all there Kindergarden shots and Physicals before they can go to school

call the school and ask them what all you have to do to get your son in school (here to start Kindergarden they have to be screened to see if there ready for it and to get a general understanding of where the teachers will need to start with that group of kids to get them ready for 1st grade.)

dont know where your from but thats how things are here

like i said call the school in your district and ask them for all the info on starting your child in school.

  7. you know your child better than we do

  8. he needs to be 7 or 6

  9. Since his birthday falls in September, you could put him in first grade or you could choose to wait.  As a former first grade teacher, I could always tell you (without looking at a list of birthdates) who the younger ones were in a class.  Maturity contributes greatly to a child's readiness to learn.  In my professional opinion, I think you should wait.  I'm sure you could find a pre-K program for him that would meet his needs and wouldn't be too demanding for him.

  10. I went to first grade when I was seven(summer b day) but I think 5 is too young 6 is ok but 5 is just a little to young
