power forward/guard

he sometimes plays guard if the one of the guards isnt there

but mostly pf

12 yrs old he is 5'5-5'7 im not sure wighs about 120lbs

dribbling is good

passing is alright although he might over pass the ball and it will go over his teamates head or hit their foot

shooting is excellent except the 3 pointers(he can make like 3 out of 10 threes

blocking is phenomenal

he isnt a slow runner but he isnt fast either

wat do u think about his coaches decision

  1. well it sound like he can be a secon or third option on point guard but hez taller than me and im 14 so he should play power forward and guard mybe second position if not center lol im a pg soo

  2. yea cuz he's tall 4 being just 12. probably one of the tallest in his age group/grade. and if he isn't as quick as the other guards he will be put at forward if feasible. cuz u can't have have someone slow on someone quick. they will get beat every time. and u said his blocking is phenomenal so there you go. height and a great shot blocker. that's a dominated big man right there. let the guards n smaller players worry about the passing n scoring, that's what they do. all they can cuz they small. coach saw he got his KG in your son. put him at guard and he wont get as many rebounds n blocks. messing up the other teams offensive flow due to his defense. if he's that great of a blocker i would had have him down low too.

  3. Don't ever tell your son's coach that you asked this question on Yahoo Answers, not even by mistake.  There's no telling what he'll do to your kid if that happens.

  4. Nothing is wrong with a tall guard, they can see over the other guards and pass it right to the other players, if he is a good defensive player then he should be able to play PF..

But, nothing is wrong in my opinion..

  5. PF? Tell your son to gain more weight because from my own experience, playing 4 or 5 is hard if you're skinny.
