  1. Call 911.

    Here are some symptoms.

The reason to dial 911 instead of driving him in is ... what happens if he has it on the way to the hospital?

  2. you can never be sure you should take him to a hospital just to make sure.

  3. If your step dad is having signs of a heart attack that is no joke and he needs to go to an ER...IMMEDIATELY,OR AN URGENT CARE TO GET CHECKED OUT!

  4. Honestly, I'd call an ambulance. My dad just had a heart attack and it was the same symptoms, now he needs to get open heart surgery in less than a month.

  5. Any acute pain anywhere above the waist...back,front,arms,wherever, should be mentioned to a doctor

  6. Tell him to check with a doctor.  Only a doctor can tell.

  7. Definitely send your dad to a doctor, but for more information on heart health and cardiac arrest, you should check out http://www.insidecardiacarrest.com. It has tons of helpful information for you and your family. Hope it helps!

  8. why bother leaving your dads health up to us on yahoo answers

the only way you can be sure is to go see a doctor. your leaving ur dads safety up to a bunch of average joes with no doctor experiences

  9. it could just be becouse he is sick

if he starts fighting for air or if his left arm goes numb then call 911

but other then that it could just be becouse he is sick i feel that way when im really sick

  10. If he's having lots of pain combined with dizzyness, sweating or other symptoms, please call an ambulance to get him to the emergency room.  That would be a definite medical emergency.  Call 911...Good luck!
