  1. Just becareful that you do not turn your gain up to much or you will be sending to much power to the sub. Other wise you will be fine.  


  2. Doubling the RMS power of the sub is usually not a good idea. I'm not saying it won't work. Just be careful. Use the DMM method to set the gains. Use this tutorial. http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forums/gene...

    When you're figuring the target output voltage. Use the RMS rating of the sub as your baseline. Don't use the full 750 watts as the target. You will damage the sub. Fried coil, Warranty Void, Period, end of story. To run the amp at 400 watts, look for a target output voltage of 28.28 volts AC.  

  3. Find a way to measure how much power your amp is putting out and set your gain to put out appx 400w
