Question:

Is my sub woofer and amplifier compatible?

I have a 700 watt Bazooka amplifier powering a 400 watt Orion Cobalt sub woofer.

I looked through the the manual for the sub woofer and it said the recommended max watt from the amplifer is 600.

The sub woofer and amplifier work fine, but will the sub woofer eventually blow because of a 100 watt difference?

Can I just tune my amplifier to a lower bass level and keep the sub woofer from being overpowered?
