  1. girl or boy?

  2. Yes that is a good time. You would make the Australian Age C'Ships with time to spare. I won't know about your age group over in America though. Bear in mind the 13 yrs 100 F/S winner did a 53 something at aussie age.

  3. stop the bullshit, u know u r good, so why ask us and waste my time? Its good, im 15(male) and do a 55. If you swim that fast and u r 15, u know where u r at.

  4. that is pretty good and the guy who said something about ohio is right, ohio is one of the faster swimming states and it is harder than most to get into swimming tournaments, but your 100 time is i have to say good

  5. That's solid, but nothing special.  Don't take this the wrong way, but 53.86 is not really noteworthy at all.  The state cut in my state (IL) is 49.5.  I'm not trying hate, since I don't even go as fast as you, but just keep working, because you definitely have potential.

  6. yeahhh tahts really good

    keep up the good work!

  7. Yeah, that's a pretty good time. But then again, it depends on where you live. Around here that wouldn't even get you any points at Regionals. But there are some places where that may get you to states. It all depends. But in general, that is a good time.

  8. Yes this is a good time.  It is almost AA (53.09), next year you should be close to AAA (50.79).  In my little state of DE an AA time is a likely win at least when I swam it was.  Look at the National Age Group top 16  short course yard times

  9. That's pretty good for 15. Depending on your state, you should be able to get to 'states' in a few years if you improve. I know ohio you'll need about 48.00 or faster to get to states, but ohio is one of the faster states.

There is definitely room for improvement. Work hard on dry land. Do your lifting correctly and lift especially in off season.

My freshman year I didn't even break a minute in my 100 free, though I did end up going to state my junior and senior year. ( I dropped 8 seconds off my hundred time in one meet, and then got faster every meet thereafter for 3 years, whether it was at a crappy pool or an invitational. Now I go 21.6 and 47.5)

So it's pretty good for your age, but keep working and keep getting faster and you'll go from good to great.

Compared to the fastest 15 year old I've ever known - He swam with me and went a high 47 point his freshman year in high school. Though he did go onto to win the state title two consecutive years in the 100 and 50, and just placed in the top 10 at olympic trials, right behind webber-gale.
