  1. yeh it sound ok

my recent one (i had it done in july) was similar

keep putting e45 or savlon on it x

  2. that is more than normal. it is actually healing quite fast. just make sure that you keep putting whatever you are using on it to keep it moist.

  3. sounds normal, parts of the body with more resilient skin, like your hands (just think what else they put up with!) tend to heal much quicker. and its still sore cos you has a needle stuck in you a few hundred or thousand times!! it should turn out just fine as long as your washing and moisturising it several times a a day still. don't let up on the after care for at least two weeks. its also fine if it now starts to look a little cloudy (milk scabbing) or  feels a little raised/ bumpy. these are all just your body dealing with the trauma. you may have to wait 2-4 weeks for a clean, smooth tattoo.

i hope you love it when its healed!

  4. How did the tattooist tell you to look after it?  did you do what they told you?

Here's what we tell people.  Wash tattoo in lukewarm soapy water. Pat dry with kitchen towel leave to air dry for 10 Min's.  Apply BEPANTHEN nappy rash cream. Cover with cling film for first 3 days.  Repeat 4 or 5 times a day and recover with fresh cling film.  After 3 days repeat process but without the cling film.  Do this for about a week.  The more you can keep it moist the better.

Don't apply vaseline - it pulls the colour out.  Don't use savlon either as any infection you could possibly pick up will live off the savlon.

don't pick any scabs at all.  If in any doubt go back to the tattooist who did it.

    good luck

  5. sounds fine. try using vasaline not savlon. it keeps it moisturised and helps to keep the colours nice. or you can get creams designed for tattoos as these are lanolin free.

  6. i have many tats, ,  in some of my joints need a good doing over coz i bent my arms and the scab fell off, leaving em crappy lookin

u could always try ringing the guy who did it and asking them

    but sounds ok
