Is my town the whitest place in the world or is it me?

The racial makeup of the town was 97.86% White, 0.87% Black or African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.04% Asian, 0.48% from other races, and 0.66% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.01% of the population.

Its Leicester new york by the way.

Seriously is there any place that has a higher Caucasian to everyone else ratio?

I live in a city in the Bay Area (Calif.) where the statistics are fairly similar, except the Asian population slightly higher (and thus the white population is slightly lower). But it's not that way throughout the Bay Area--its just that I live in pretty much a rich white city.

I grew up as an anglo (white kid) in the most Mexican of all US towns & counties (Starr county, TX. near Rio Grande City).  As a white kid I suffered daily beatings for being white.  I hope your city is more tollerant  of minorties than mine was.

Edit : < .1% of the county is African American (7 people).  So if one considered Hispanic to be white then 99.9% are white.

So the county is 99.9% non-African American.

  This represents the data in the above table, demonstrating that the majority of Starr County residents are Hispanic.
