Question:

Is my transfer gpa good enough for nursing school?

I have a 3.0 in all sciences and math but due to poor grades 8 years ago my cumulative gpa is a 2.24, this is because I was working and taking classes and helping my girlfriend's parents who both had cancer. I really want to be a pre-hospital RN, am I good enough?

  1. You are good enough it is just going to take a little more work on your part to convince the nursing school. The best solution would be to talk to the admissions dept of the nursing school and explain your situation and ask what they would want to see from you, ex more recent classes with good grades or documentation of your circumstances, etc.
