Is my two year old DLP dead?

I turn it on and it works for a bit, then it shuts down and the Lamp indicator turns on. Is the lamp dead? If so can it be replaced. I watch television and DVDs and play XBOX 360 on it.

yes the lamp is out its going to be about 100-150 to replace the lamp. just order it on line best buy part search or anything like that will work. you can repace it yourself just read the owners manules to do so
