Is my typing speed good? I don't know what the average is.?

I took a typing test online and the first test I scored 85 words per minute and the second test I scored 93 words per minute. Is that good or average or above average?

  2. I think that it is way above average.  I can type 80+ words a minute and I thought I was slow until I started asking some people that I know who type a lot.  I think that average is 35 - 40 WPM

    Do your fingers become a blur?  Does the keyboard start to heat up?  The average is 35-40 wpm.  You will therefore have the pick of the best jobs out there.

    Everyone thinks I'm fast and I'm only 60-70WPM. I guess it makes a difference when you're thinking and typing, then looking and then typing it.
