Is my xbox 360 arcade ready to play online straight from the box? OR do I have to purchase memory?

P.S. I bought 6 months of gold membership when I bought

  1. the person above me doesnt know what he is talking about,  you can save things when your online, IE: NCAA football 09 has a online dynasty mode and may other games saves your online progress.  Dont go out and wast money on the HDD.  You dont need it if you got the mem card.  I use mine that came with mine and its fine.  The only thing that sucks is that most of the games expantion packs IE: oblivion are HUGE.  Its 1.9 GB.  You wont be able to fit that onto the mem card.  As for playing online yes your good.  I would suggest buying a router to share your internet connection with your pc and your 360 so your not switching the cable from the pc to the 360 every time you want to play online.  just plug the cable in your your good to go.  With the router the 360 need to be configured to see the network correctly.  This can easily be done.  If you need help with that send me a message on xbox live.  my gamertag is stinkyx dead x2
